About Kim
At the age of 28 I was at a crossroads in my life — newly married, two kids, and switching jobs. I was spinning my wheels without a well-defined direction. With the little money that I had I decided to take a leap of faith and hire a coach. This was the best decision that I ever made. I went back to school, and changed the direction of my career and my life. Clarity was formed. Ironically, 15 years later I became a certified coach. I know firsthand the impact that a coach can have on a person’s life.
Throughout my 20+ year career, I have gained hands on, people focused experience in Human Resources, Business Operations, and Management in a variety of different sectors and company sizes. My positive and entrepreneurial approach will help you to develop an effective strategy that will make a difference in your life and get results.
“Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.”
— Brian Tracy
Professional Interests
I am an executive member of the Vancouver Board of Trade, on the advisory board for Your Workplace Magazine, and mentor entrepreneurs and young professionals. I regularly attend conferences and events that promote leadership, wellness and development. The David Rock Model of SCARF is one I think is an excellent framework. I enjoy facilitating leadership development workshops and have recently become a fully certified international team coach.
Personal Interests
Born and raised on the west coast and a mother of 2 grown daughters. I love the outdoors — hikes and activities on the water are my favourites. An avid reader on all subjects, both non-fiction and fiction. A fan of documentaries and old classic films.
“Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!”
— Dr. Seuss
